止血帶止血是用于四肢大出血急救時(shí)簡(jiǎn)單、有效的止血方法，它通過(guò)壓迫血管阻斷血行來(lái)達(dá)到止血目的。但如使用不當(dāng)或使用時(shí)間過(guò)長(zhǎng)，止血帶可造成遠(yuǎn)端肢體缺血、壞死，造成殘廢，為此，只有在出血猛烈，用其它方法不能止血時(shí)才能應(yīng)用止血帶。

      止血帶以橡皮條或橡皮管為好，不宜用布帶、電線等無(wú)彈性的帶子。綁扎位置應(yīng)在傷口的上方(近心端)，并盡量靠近傷口，以上臂的上1/3和大腿上中部為好，小腿和前臂不能上止血帶，因該處有兩根骨頭，血管正好走在兩骨之間，上止血帶起不到壓迫血管的作用。上臂的中1/3部位亦不能上止血帶，因它可能引起神經(jīng)損傷而致手臂癱瘓。
